Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site operations for complex commercial projects across the Savannah market. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

Manage all day‑to‑day field operations on assigned commercial construction projects

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on‑site personnel

Maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met

Enforce site safety policies and OSHA compliance at all times

Conduct regular site meetings and progress updates with the project team

Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards

Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays or cost overruns

Profile

Experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects

Proven experience leading ground‑up commercial construction (education, healthcare, industrial, or large retail preferred)

Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Proficient with construction scheduling and reporting tools

OSHA 30 certification preferred

Local to Savannah, GA or within a commutable distance
