Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Port Deposit, Maryland. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment.
Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour
Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
Schedule: Third Shift Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, every other Wednesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Job Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Achieve performance measurement guidelines set by the contract.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more of related warehouse/powered‑industrial‑truck experience preferred.
Valid forklift operator’s license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with good attendance.
Can lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
Works safely and can adapt to flexible schedules.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
Additional Screening
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle record check, and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer.
