Talent Acquisition Specialist II
Location: Broomfield, CO – Onsite, 5 days per week.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist II, you will execute full life‑cycle recruiting for technical and engineering roles while partnering closely with Hiring Managers and Talent Advisors to deliver a best‑in‑class hiring experience. You will attract, engage, and hire top talent to support critical business objectives, including positions requiring security clearances. This role supports the Human Resources Strategic Capabilities Unit, which develops, retains, rewards, and attracts the talent required for the organization to achieve its strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Talent Advisors to deliver a seamless and positive hiring experience for both Hiring Managers and candidates
Execute full‑cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer creation, and salary negotiation
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms to attract top technical talent
Build and promote the employment brand through networking, social media engagement, and community outreach
Manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining accountability for key recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑hire
Communicate and interpret established policies, procedures, and employment laws to Hiring Managers and candidates
Ensure strict adherence to established hiring processes, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements
Maintain regular and predictable work attendance
Build strong working relationships across departments, Strategic Business Units, and Strategic Capabilities Units to support recruiting goals
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) plus 2+ years of related experience
Each higher‑level degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) may substitute for two years of experience
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Prior recruiting experience within a technical organization or aerospace/defense industry
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably BrassRing
Proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with a strong sense of urgency
Solid business acumen, sound judgment, and attention to detail
Willingness to travel locally as needed
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Engineering or technical recruiting background
Experience supporting large, complex hiring initiatives
