Front Desk Manager
Provide a welcoming and professional first impression for a premier national firm by managing front-of-house operations and providing essential administrative support.
Compensation: $34.00/Hour
Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Manage front desk operations including greeting guests and professional call handling.
Coordinate meeting logistics, including conference room set up, maintenance and catering orders.
Oversee mail and package distribution for FedEx, UPS, and Amazon shipments.
Maintain office inventory by ordering supplies and restocking kitchen areas weekly.
Provide administrative assistance with invoice processing and employee expense reports.
Support various office personnel with special projects as directed.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Adaptability to process changes and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform interval walking, standing, or climbing.
