Role Description
Chick-fil-A Hueytown is hiring an Operations Manager. We're not looking for someone to maintain something — we're looking for someone to help build it.
The Operator isn't looking for a proxy who can hold the line — he's looking for a partner who can set the standard and raise it.
What you'd own
Front-of-house and back-of-house execution from open through close. Shift leadership and real-time coaching during peak. Food safety — a passing score is the floor, not the goal. The systems that let a large team run consistently whether you're on the floor or not. Development of the Team Leaders and Managers who run shifts under you. Food cost, labor, and waste — monitored in real time, with solutions, not just reports.
You'd partner closely with a peer leader who owns people and culture. Two lanes, clearly defined, both essential.
What we're looking for
2+ years leading at a Manager or equivalent level in CFA or a high-volume QSR
Proven experience running kitchen and FOH during a real rush — not in theory
A track record of building or improving a system, not just inheriting one
People you've developed who went on to lead
Availability for early-morning opens and weekends
Free-standing unit experience and launch-phase experience are pluses
