The Bureau of Regulatory Operations (BRO) is responsible for licensing, certification, and enforcement for health care facilities, services, and programs.

Job Description
What You'll Do:

Develop, implement, and maintain data administration standards, policies, and procedures across programs.

Design and support databases, including data structures, definitions, and system improvements.

Analyze and interpret complex data to support program operations, compliance, and decision‑making.

Lead development of reports related to licensing, certification, quality monitoring, and regulatory activities.

Manage and fulfill internal and external data requests while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Develop reports, track performance, and support patient safety and quality initiatives.

Establish project timelines and coordinate data‑related initiatives to meet program goals.

Create and maintain data dictionaries, system documentation, and standardization definitions.

Collaborate with program staff, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure data systems meet operational needs.

Monitor and support data systems and applications (e.g., licensing, survey and reporting systems).

Provide technical support and respond to inquiries from staff, providers, and external partners.

Develop and deliver training on system usage, data management, and reporting tools.

Support testing, system enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts.

Unusual Working Conditions: Overtime may be required; travel may be required, which may include overnight stay.

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or data processing, computer science or information systems technology AND 2 years’ experience or 2 years’ training in development of standards for new and existing data definitions, product evaluation, software selection, and database design including security measures and data lifecycle management.

Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Supplemental Information: The selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 14, Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($39.22 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
