
Training - Field Trainer

Position Purpose
Support strategic programs companywide that drive critical performance metrics and routinely pivots to meet the needs of the business.
Essential Duties
Conduct employee training classes in-store, in the classroom, or on a virtual platform covering product knowledge, sales skills, leadership principles, and best practices.
Conduct store visits to support district leadership teams, communicate feedback for curriculum development, and provide coaching as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization.
Ensure understanding of company policies, procedures, and practices.
Work in partnership with field teams to plan and deliver training solutions and resources for continuous employee development.
Facilitate training exercises and activities to illustrate the content.
Communicate with the Content Development Team to enhance and update curriculum.
Provide customized learning solutions in partnership with regional leadership.
Provide learning attendance and completion reporting.
Partner with field leadership to interpret sales results and create a training plan that links behaviors to numbers.
Provide direct support to new hires during their first 90 days to ensure they meet company KPI targets.
Manage expenses to adhere to set budget requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and/or experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Adult Education, Training, or a related field is preferred. Wireless field experience is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Teams and Excel.
Language Skills
Reads and interprets operating instructions and procedure manuals. Routinely writes detailed reports and correspondence and responds to questions and/or complaints. Routinely speaks effectively before groups of customers, clients, and managers and/or employees within the organization.
Reasoning / Problem Solving Ability
Routinely solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Decision Making & Impact of Errors
Limited – Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. The impact of decisions is usually low to moderate cost.
Physical Demands
Able to sit up to 35% of the time. Able to stand or walk over 70% of the time.
Work Environment
Work typically occurs remotely in a retail store environment and in a home office, with routine presentations before small to large groups.
Travel Requirements
Travels up to 100% of the time, including overnight.
