Apartment Maintenance Supervisor - Wabash/Sequoia
WPM is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the maintenance operations at Wabash Manor and Sequoia Manor.
The Service Manager will oversee daily maintenance operations, schedule and manage contractors and vendors, handle work orders and apartment turns, and ensure resident concerns are addressed promptly. Previous residential maintenance management experience is required.
Payment: $29.00 per hour, based on experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with 24/7 on‑call availability.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and general maintenance
Manage unit turnover and move‑in/move‑out processes
Oversee work order systems, ensuring timely completion and accurate updates
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
Coordinate and schedule contractors, vendors, and third‑party services
Execute routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment and property life
Collaborate with the Property Manager on project updates, unit turns, and work order progress
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational goals
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
HVAC Certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Superior customer service skills, with professionalism in handling resident concerns
Comfort with technology and work order management systems
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in residential multifamily or facility maintenance
