Soni Resources is assisting a client in Chicago, IL (onsite, 2–3 days per week) in their search for an Office Manager (Executive Assistant Support)! This is a part‑time, permanent opportunity with the potential to grow into a full‑time role. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in supporting both office operations and executive leadership.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager:
Oversee daily operations of the Chicago office to ensure a smooth, organized, and professional environment
Serve as the primary point of contact for office needs, vendors, and building management
Coordinate office supplies, inventory, and upkeep of shared spaces
Support onboarding logistics for new hires, including workspace setup and coordination with HR/IT
Assist with planning and execution of internal meetings and office events
Provide direct administrative support to leadership, including calendar management and meeting coordination
Assist with travel arrangements, expense reporting, and itinerary coordination
Prepare materials, presentations, and reports as needed
Act as a liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders
Help manage priorities and ensure follow‑through on key initiatives
Requirements of the Office Manager:
3+ years of experience in an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or Executive Assistant role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate with a high level of autonomy
Experience supporting senior leaders or executives preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
