
Home Shopping Manager

Position Summary
The Home Shopping Department Manager oversees all Home Shopping operations, including order fulfillment, pickup, and delivery execution. This role is responsible for achieving service level goals, ensuring order accuracy, managing labor and productivity, controlling expenses, and delivering a positive omnichannel customer experience while maintaining food safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily Home Shopping Department operations, including order picking, staging, pickup, and delivery coordination
Ensure on‑time order fulfillment, high accuracy, and strong customer satisfaction scores
Lead, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate Home Shopping associates
Monitor labor, productivity, and order volume to meet department and store goals
Ensure quality standards for product selection, substitutions, and customer communications
Partner with Store Leadership and Department Managers to resolve out‑of‑stocks and substitutions
Oversee department organization, staging areas, equipment, and supplies
Monitor and improve key metrics such as fill rate, pick speed, order accuracy, and wait times
Address customer concerns and service issues promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and digital platform procedures
Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational logs
Operations & Compliance
Enforce proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation standards
Ensure adherence to all company Home Shopping, safety, and loss prevention policies
Maintain secure handling of customer orders and personal information
Lead corrective action when service or operational standards are not met
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous retail, grocery, e‑commerce, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong organizational, leadership, and time‑management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Effective communication and coaching skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with order management systems
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds
Ability to push carts and maneuver orders throughout the store
Work in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed
