Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Administration Manager, a Supervisor II, the Supervisor I provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff responsible for various personnel and hiring activities for the Maintenance Division. The incumbent also provides guidance and support on issues related to position control and division staffing, hiring actions, including personnel and transaction activities, and recruitment. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for directing and overseeing the activities of administrative and support staff for training, inventory control, damage recovery, and other administrative functions as required. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Division's management personnel with hiring and personnel services to enable the management of their respective branches professionally and effectively.
Eligibility
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the SUPERVISOR I exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
Special Requirements
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating state owned or leased vehicles.
Qualifications
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.

Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment.
