Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States
Start date: 2 weeks from offer • Duration: 8 weeks • Weekly pay: $1,556 – $1,642 per week • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week • Shift: Eve

This travel assignment is for a licensed practical nurse working in a long-term care setting. The role accepts either an RN or LPN under supervision, with an 8-week contract starting after offer acceptance and a 40-hour weekly guarantee. The placement requires evening and night coverage within a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and document administration according to care plans and facility procedures
Monitor vital signs, assess changes in resident condition, and report to the supervising nurse
Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting safety and dignity
Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and routine procedures per policy
Document care provided in the electronic health record and communicate clearly with the care team
Requirements
LPN licensure in Wisconsin or eligibility for licensure (per standard care practice in a LTC travel role)
Ability to work evenings and nights in a rotating schedule
Comfort and experience in long-term care settings; ability to follow care plans and document accurately
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass background check and health screenings required for clinical deployments
