ADJUNCT – EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROFESSIONS ( EMSP )
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual‑credit/early college classes.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Professions.
Three (3) years of EMS experience.
Current certification or licensure from the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Paramedic.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
Job Duties
Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction.
Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.
Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
