Job Summary
As a Financial Planner, you will be the strategic guide for clients navigating life’s financial milestones. From retirement planning to education funding, you will craft personalized roadmaps that help individuals and families achieve long‑term financial security. You will work closely with clients and their Central Trust service team, to uncover needs, offer expert advice, and deliver comprehensive planning solutions that align with their goals and values.
Job Duties
Client Engagement & Planning:
Conduct in-depth discovery meetings and financial situation assessments
Create customized financial plans covering retirement, education, insurance, estate, and tax strategies
Present recommendations in a clear, actionable format
Revisit planning regularly with clients, serving as a financial coach and resource at all life stages, cultivating long‑term relationships through trust and transparency
Responsible for managing and retaining all relationships and accounts assigned.
Team Collaboration:
Be an internal advocate for the value of financial planning, working with client service teams to expand their current client relationships
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for client service teams as financial questions arise, staying informed about trends and updates in the industry
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all planning activities meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
Maintain accurate client records and planning documentation
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (CFP® designation preferred)
Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in financial planning or advisory services
Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment vehicles, and insurance products
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Comfortable collaborating with many different teams and roles
