Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
• Proven experience in emergency department settings
• Ability to work independently and oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Allscripts and Paragon

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in high-volume EDs
• Familiarity with trauma or critical care settings
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Minimum of 2 years' emergency physician experience
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work a minimum of 5 shifts per month, ideally 8-10 shifts, with ongoing availability for 12+ months
• Shifts scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
• Credentialing timeline of approximately 60+ days
• Travel arrangements must be coordinated through OVP; all travel reimbursements apply
• Must be comfortable working without trauma designation and with an annual ED volume of approximately 18,500 patients

This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $273.00, paid weekly via direct deposit, along with comprehensive benefits, paid sick leave, and access to robust support from our dedicated team.
