
Project Manager II

Responsibilities
Manage and direct activities and personnel associated with small to large-scale, non-IT business projects.
Lead single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the full project life cycle.
Collaborate with project sponsors, business units, and users to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, requirements, processes, tools, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Assign, guide, and monitor project staff; allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure project targets are met.
Estimate project level of effort, costs, resource needs, and timelines using standard estimating techniques and tools.
Identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and resolve project issues to minimize delays.
Deliver quality project solutions within defined budgets and timelines using standard development methodologies.
Track project progress and performance; prepare and present status reports to management and stakeholders.
Conduct project meetings and communicate project status within and beyond the project team.
Liaise with internal teams to secure specialized resources and cross-functional contributions.
Coach and mentor project staff and support junior project leaders.
Perform work in a quality system environment and ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations.
Exercise judgment on problems of moderate scope using defined procedures and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of related project management experience.
Strong understanding of technical and/or business functional areas.
Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures.
General understanding of business unit or group functions.
Broad knowledge of technical alternatives and their impact on systems environments.
Experience working in a regulated industry required.
