
Care Coordinator

PetVet Care Centers' Trooper Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Care Coordinator to join their team!
The Care Coordinator contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
Experience in face‑to‑face client service.
Some knowledge of, or background in, companion animal health.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
Experience in veterinary client service.
Schedule
40 hour, Monday – Friday, set schedule will be offered and will typically include three 8:00‑4:00 days and two 12:00‑7:30 PM days.
Occasional Saturdays 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM, typically offset with a day off during the week.
No late nights, no Sundays, no major holidays.
