Position Summary
The CTE Support Specialist provides support to the CTE Department by assisting with reporting, testing, and scheduling at sites as needed. This role may include assisting with the creation of Special Populations lists, scheduling, administering and proctoring state assessments and industry certifications, gathering and completing documentation needed to meet local, state, and federal audits and compliance requirements, coordinating CTE activities, and providing assistance to the teachers as needed.
Training and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
One year of secretarial/clerical experience.
One year experience working directly with students in a high school setting such as a paraprofessional, volunteer, student work experience, supervisor, etc.
Ability to perform a variety of moderately complex clerical duties using spreadsheets, word processing and web based applications, e‑mail and other forms of digital communications.
