Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room, Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: May 4, 2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,629–$1,754 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Travel assignment in a hospital emergency department in the Atlanta area.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the ED, including triage, initial assessments, monitoring, and rapid interventions.
Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and manage pain and sedation per protocol.
Recognize deteriorating conditions and coordinate timely interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other staff to develop and execute individualized care plans.
Ensure patient safety, infection control, and family communication across pediatric and adult populations.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency care experience.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC/ENPC preferred.
Credentialing process in progress; conditional compliance allowed for credentialing in process.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity emergency department.
Availability to work a 2x3 night shift schedule in the Atlanta area.
