
Maintenance Tech PM

Position Summary
DC Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on building systems and assigned equipment, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and finish trades. Shift: Wed–Fri 4:30 p.m.–5 a.m. Additional 12‑hour shift premium $1.50, additional PM shift premium $1.50.
Essential Functions
Schedules and performs minor electrical maintenance such as replacing switches, ballasts, lamps, motors, and conducting safety and equipment inspections.
Performs plumbing deficiencies including repairing broken pipes, replacing pumps, valves, flush‑ometers, seals, unclogging lines, and conducting safety and equipment inspections.
Schedules and performs minor maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and compressor systems.
Performs routine maintenance on material handling equipment, including conveyors, lift equipment, hoists, maintenance platforms, batteries, and dock levelers, and coordinates contracted maintenance support.
Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on appliances such as smoke detection systems, turnstyle counters, metal detectors, intrusion alarm devices, security systems, kitchen equipment, shredders, and time clocks, and maintains knowledge of building suppression notification panels.
Coordinates and completes finishing building trades such as painting, floor repairs, wall and door repairs, and other assigned carpentry projects.
Installs office furniture and cubicles.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
Experience / Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
