Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to oversee the financial lifecycle of commercial construction projects, ensuring proper revenue recognition and payment collection throughout the project duration.

Core Functions

Revenue Management : Generate monthly construction payment applications using industry-standard forms (G702/G703), monitor project milestones for billing purposes, and manage retention funds and project modifications.

Contract Compliance : Maintain documentation of payment releases and waivers, verify adherence to contractual obligations and lender requirements, and ensure proper documentation for payment processing.

Collections Oversight : Monitor outstanding balances, implement strategies to accelerate payment collection, and resolve discrepancies in billing or payment applications.

Financial Systems Management : Utilize construction billing platforms for payment submissions, maintain organized accounts receivable records, and support monthly financial closing activities.

Requirements
Required Background

Minimum 3 years in construction financial management or related field

Demonstrated expertise in construction billing processes and payment collection

Familiarity with construction contract structures and change order procedures

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with construction-specific software including Textura, Sage, and Procore

Understanding of construction project lifecycle and associated financial implications
