Position Overview
The Dispatch Workflow & Freight Coordination Specialist supports freight tracking, load assignment, and operational workflow across Oregon-based dispatch systems. Salt Lake City candidates are prioritized for hybrid engagement; remote candidates are fully integrated nationwide. This position provides structured training for entry-level candidates and operational management responsibilities for experienced dispatch professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Track and monitor shipment activity across assigned loads
Assign freight loads and maintain accurate system records
Communicate delivery updates, delays, or exceptions to internal teams and drivers
Maintain detailed operational documentation and logs for all dispatch activities
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Collaborate with Oregon-based management to ensure operational alignment and consistency
Escalate scheduling conflicts and operational issues as needed
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency with dispatch/tracking software
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Ability to follow structured workflows and operational procedures
Time management and multitasking skills
Experience optional; full training provided
Work Environment
Hybrid and remote Oregon-based dispatch operations. Salt Lake City candidates may attend hybrid workflow sessions; remote candidates fully supported.
