Sr. Business Analyst
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid Model)
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Familiarity with rating, pricing, underwriting rules, and loss drivers
Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements (DOI filings, state specific rules)
Experience with core modernization, replacement, or enhancement initiatives
Requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, and SME sessions
Strong ability in requirements traceability (RTM) and change impact analysis
Responsibilities
Convert business needs into system-ready functional specifications
Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
Jira story creation, backlog grooming, sprint support, and story clarification
Close collaboration with product owners, solution architects, developers & QA teams
Create Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements (FRD), User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, Use Cases and Process Flows
As-is/To-be process analysis across policy, underwriting, claims, and servicing
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
Experience with STP (Straight Through Processing) and workflow enablement
