Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in banking and payments. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of payment processing systems, regulatory standards, and business analysis methodologies, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements across payment systems and processes.
Develop comprehensive documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD/FSD), Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze end-to-end payment workflows, including domestic ACH and wire payments, ensuring accurate processing, exception handling, and reconciliation.
Perform data analysis using SQL (joins, subqueries, validations) to support business decisions and troubleshoot payment‑related issues.
Work closely with technology teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and support system enhancements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks, including payment modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
6 years of Business Analysis experience within the Banking and Payments domain.
Strong hands‑on experience with
ACH and Wire Payments, including domestic payment lifecycle, processing flows, and exception management.
Solid understanding of
payment networks and standards such as SWIFT, RTP, ISO 20022, and Fedwire modernization.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
Strong expertise in requirements management and documentation best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
