Job Description
We are seeking a Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Seattle. This role will be responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors and manage the full PO lifecycle
Track order status, monitor open POs, and ensure timely delivery of materials
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and timelines
Support an established PO request system, processing incoming requests and routing through approvals
Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, resolve delays, and maintain strong relationships
Set up new vendors within the system and maintain accurate records
Monitor incoming shipments and receipts to ensure alignment with orders
Partner with managers and supervisors across the facility to support ongoing operational needs
Occasionally support ad hoc or non-routine purchasing requests
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience working with NetSuite is highly preferred
Strong understanding of xywuqvp purchase order processes and vendor coordination
Experience setting up vendors and managing supplier relationships
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and approachable, team-oriented mindset
High attention to detail and ability to track and follow up on multiple orders simultaneously
Preferred
Experience supporting manufacturing operations or production teams
Exposure to ERP systems and procurement workflows
