Purchase To Pay Processor

PK Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Purchase To Pay Processor to support the full lifecycle of our purchasing workflow. This role ensures that purchase orders are created, validated, routed, and maintained accurately and efficiently across multiple departments and companies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-minded, and comfortable working with data, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Create, review, and process purchase orders in compliance with company procurement policies and approval workflows.
Verify pricing, coding, account allocations, and required documentation before issuing POs.
Monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely follow-up, closure, or adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve PO discrepancies, missing information, or vendor issues.
Maintain accurate PO records and support audit readiness across all companies.
Reconcile vendor acknowledgments and match supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
Generate reports on PO activity, status, compliance, or exceptions for management review.
Ensure compliance with procurement requirements (W-9 documentation, sales tax considerations, vendor setup details, etc.).
Requirements & Skills
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or accounts payable preferred but not required.
Understanding of purchasing workflows, cost centers, and basic accounting or bookkeeping concepts.
Strong data entry and data accuracy skills.
Ability to verify, track, and troubleshoot documentation with a high level of detail.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or accounting systems a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
