Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Professional to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional eager to build or specialize their career in employee benefits. We welcome applications from professionals looking to leverage their experience from a generalist HR role or another HR related field into a benefits specialization. The successful candidate will be a key player in administering our benefits programs and serving as a trusted resource for our employees.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for questions regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, and plan details.
Play a key role in the annual open enrollment process, from preparing materials to communicating with employees.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefit records in our benefits system.
Assist with the reconciliation of benefits statements and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure all benefits administration complies with applicable federal and state regulations.
Act as a backup for payroll processing and assist with payroll related inquiries as needed.
Collaborate with the broader HR team on various projects and initiatives.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
Experience in a Human Resources Generalist role is highly valued.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and with empathy.
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Products.
A proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience working with an HRIS platform, preferred
Familiarity with benefits-related laws and regulations such as COBRA, FMLA, and ACA, preferred
