Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring that every guest enjoys a remarkable dining experience. The RM will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and driving profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities.
Ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
Responsible for payroll.
Recruit, train, and develop staff, including servers, bartenders, runners, hosts, and all FOH positions.
Create and maintain a positive work environment that encourages team cohesion and professional growth.
Implement performance evaluations and address any staff issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor adherence to SOPs and training guidelines.
Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing guest concerns and feedback with professionalism.
Implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat business.
Work with the Director of F&B to manage the restaurant’s budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
Work with the Director of F&B to monitor financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and profitability.
Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and events.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations to promote the restaurant.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the restaurant operates within legal and company guidelines.
Salary : 80k-85k / Annually
