Key Responsibilities
Manage daily patient scheduling through telephone, electronic, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the registration team to streamline check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient experience and accuracy.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.
Handle requests, complaints, and communications with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.
Manage automated reminder call programs to reduce no-shows and improve appointment adherence.
Maintain consistent attendance and meet the physical demands of the role.
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.
Proven problem-solving and planning abilities.
Experience instructing both professional and non-professional personnel is a plus.
Skills and Requirements
Strong collaboration and management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Effective oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
