Student Employee – Undergraduate Research Assistant, Department of Sociology
Position: Student Employee – Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Sociology. Work 5-10 hours per week with an hourly rate of $12.
Nature & Purpose: Supplementary employment opportunity. Student assistants work closely with a faculty member to assist with research-related tasks. Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis; professors select their own assistants, so interested students should contact the professor they wish to work with.
Responsibilities
Assist faculty with research projects.
Perform data collection, data entry, and basic analysis.
Attend research meetings and assist with project documentation.
Qualifications
Undergraduate student in Sociology or a related field.
Strong academic record and interest in research.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
