Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in St. Joseph, Missouri. The position requires a 40‑hour week with 8‑hour daytime shifts. Candidates should be licensed in Missouri and hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting.
Supervise PTAs and therapy technicians.
Bill and document services in accordance with facility and insurance guidelines.
Comply with state and PT board regulations.
Collaborate with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
Evaluate and select adaptive equipment.
Modify plans of care based on patient progress.
Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (new graduates encouraged).
1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be acceptable for exceptional candidates.
Current Missouri licensure and BLS certification.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
