Pay Rate:
Up to $40/hour (based on experience) plus shift differentials
About The Role
Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality resident care, clinical excellence, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing staff and ensure residents receive exceptional care in accordance with individualized care plans and regulatory standards
Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on resident acuity and staff qualifications
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including onboarding and ongoing education
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and clinical care
Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current, valid Florida RN license
CPR certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting
Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical‑thinking skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
