Qualifications
2+ years of public accounting experience
Entity experience (Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, and Trust preparation)
Ability to prepare working trial balances and year‑end adjusting entries
Broad understanding of Tax Law with specialized knowledge in individual, corporate, pass‑through, estate and gift tax, investment advisory, and/or financial planning
Experience with high‑net‑worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts (non‑profit experience is a plus)
Excellent research, writing, verbal, and written communication skills
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business‑related fields
CPA certification is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess
Responsibilities
Manage and develop income tax and financial planning clients
Review very complex individual and entity tax returns
Prepare year‑end projections
Conduct research on various tax issues
Mentor associates and provide guidance on tax issues
Liaise with managers and clients
Maintain presentation skills (oral and written)
Salary:
$65,000 – $85,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on market demand, education, experience, and skill set.
