Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Workstation Specialist (PS3 A4 SC3) to support IT operations in District 7. This role requires providing technical support and hands-on assistance in workstation deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting within the agency's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Support the rollout of new hardware and software as required by the agency.
• Perform imaging of workstations using standardized tools and procedures.
• Resolve issues with operating systems, hardware components, and application software.
• Maintain accurate records of asset deployments and service requests.
• Work collaboratively with IT teams and PennDOT personnel to ensure smooth workstation operations.
Required Experience:
• 3+ years of experience providing technical support in a workstation or desktop support role.
• Experience with Windows operating systems (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting).
• Knowledge of imaging software and remote desktop support tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting state or local government IT environments.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
