SENIOR CISCO ACI ENGINEER

Key Technologies & Requirements
Must-Haves:

Cloud networking experience , especially in

AWS

(Azure experience is a plus, but company is shifting away from Azure)
Cisco ACI ,

Cisco Nexus (8K/9K)
Strong understanding of

enterprise-level routing/switching
Familiarity with routing protocols:

BGP ,

OSPF ,

BFD

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with

Palo Alto Firewalls

Not Required:

Cisco ISE or deep network security expertise (covered by another team)

Key Projects
North Star Initiative:

Building and deploying multiple AWS environments
Creating seamless connectivity between environments and to on-prem infrastructure
Actively involved in "Acceleration Week" with developers to fast-track cloud deployment

Cloud & Data Center Interconnectivity:

Engineering resiliency across cloud and data center connections
Designing routing strategies and failover paths across multiple direct connects and environments

Operational Support:

Ongoing data center switch maintenance
Participation in a monthly

on-call rotation

(1 week/month, shared among 4 engineers)
