About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, driving the company's financial and operational strategy. This high-impact leadership role involves leading all aspects of finance and accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing cost accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment, driving the evaluation and implementation of a new ERP system, and enhancing financial processes, reporting capabilities, and internal controls. Additionally, the CFO will partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and external advisors, and lead, develop, and optimize the finance and accounting team.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment is required, with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory-driven operations, and cash flow management and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting ERP implementations, exposure to multi-entity or consolidated financial structures, and a demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve processes, and execute initiatives. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to work closely with ownership and senior leadership to lead strategic initiatives and implement new systems and processes.
