A-player Refrigerated Freight Operations Lead
to build, coach, and scale a high-performing Carrier Sales team focused on

What You'll Take the Lead On:
Managing and coaching a team of 3-6 Carrier Sales Representatives
Conducting weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and call coaching
Developing your team in carrier negotiation, lane strategy, margin protection, and reefer market execution
Overseeing procurement of refrigerated and temperature-controlled capacity
Building and maintaining core carrier networks in key reefer lanes
Ensuring consistent coverage for produce, frozen foods, and dairy
Holding the team accountable to KPIs, including on-time performance, tender acceptance, load coverage time, and margin targets
Owning high-level relationships with refrigerated carriers and negotiating pricing agreements
Partnering with Customer Sales and Operations on new business wins, difficult lanes, and service recovery
Creating SOPs and training processes for reefer execution, temperature checks, breakdown response, and high-risk load planning
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of freight brokerage experience
2+ years of reefer or temperature-controlled freight experience (strongly preferred)
Prior leadership, mentorship, or team lead experience
Strong negotiation skills and deep reefer market knowledge
Proven ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive freight
Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
