Job Description

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and callers while also providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors, staff, and guests, ensuring a friendly and professional front desk experience
Answer and direct incoming calls, taking detailed messages when needed
Provide general information and respond to inquiries in a helpful and timely manner
Monitor and track visitor flow and staff movement throughout the building
Perform administrative tasks such as drafting documents, copying, filing, and supply ordering
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distribution
Keep the reception area organized, clean, and presentable at all times
Partner with internal departments to support day-to-day office needs and operations
Assist with additional clerical or operational tasks as needed
Qualifications

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, clerical, or front desk role
Experience handling phones, mail distribution, and general office support preferred
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional, approachable, and team-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
Education:

Associate's degree or currently pursuing a degree preferred
