We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support a senior HR and payroll leader in a fast paced professional environment. This position plays a key role in recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits support, and general administrative operations. This is a fully on site role based in the Philadelphia area, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Support recruiting efforts including posting roles, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records
Conduct initial phone screenings and document candidate feedback
Coordinate onboarding for new hires including paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling
Serve as a primary point of contact for new employees during onboarding
Monitor shared inboxes and phone lines and route inquiries appropriately
Maintain employee records, directories, and HR documentation with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Provide administrative support to leadership across HR, finance, and operations
Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and general documentation as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred plus 2+ years of HR or administrative experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred
Self starter with strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
