Manufacturing Helper
As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with an emphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training and experience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.
Shift:
1st shift
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Rotating 2/2/3 schedule
Pay Rate:
$18.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure.
Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
Helps perform routine preventative machine maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 6 months of extrusion experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
High awareness toward safety.
Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 30lbs.
Hand/eye coordination.
