Machine Helper

The Machine Helper plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process by assisting machine operators and ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment. This position involves preparing machines for operation, monitoring their performance, and performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime. The Machine Helper contributes to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions. By collaborating closely with the production team, the Machine Helper helps optimize workflow and supports quality control efforts. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine operation procedures.
Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with industrial machinery and basic maintenance techniques.
Basic understanding of quality control principles.
Certification in workplace safety or machine operation is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist machine operators in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment.
Monitor machines during operation to detect any irregularities or malfunctions.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required by the production process.
Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
Maintain accurate records of machine performance and maintenance activities.
Support the production team in meeting daily output goals and quality standards.
