Production Mechanic Operator
Our client in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Mechanic Operator to support daily production operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. This role ensures production lines run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Location- Mount Olive, NJ Rate- Based on experience
What's the Job?
Operate, monitor, and adjust food production and packaging machinery to ensure consistent output.
Perform routine mechanical maintenance, equipment setup, and changeovers.
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and minor repairs on production equipment.
Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
2+ years of experience as a machine operator or production mechanic in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with production machinery, conveyors, packaging lines, or processing equipment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
