Data Entry / Accounts Payable Specialist

Contract-to-Hire | Remote (Hybrid Training) | Troy, MI
LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client located in Troy, MI who is seeking a Data Entry / Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, with conversion to Direct Hire after approximately 3 months.
This role is primarily remote, with one week of on-site training at the start and one on-site day per month thereafter.
Compensation: $2021/hour
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter high-volume data related to accounts payable transactions
Process vendor invoices, match invoices to purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals
Review data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures
Assist with basic AP functions including invoice coding and expense allocation
Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized electronic records and documentation
Support the accounting team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Prior experience in data entry and/or accounts payable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel or accounting systems preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
