HR MANAGER

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Base


CFS is searching for an HR Manager to serve as a strategic business partner for a manufacturing facility, overseeing daily human resources operations while supporting workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to drive HR strategies that align with operational goals and foster a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities of the HR Manager:



  • Act as a trusted HR partner to site leadership, balancing relationship-building with effective oversight of daily HR functions.

  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations, talent reviews, coaching, and employee development initiatives.

  • Lead employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and terminations, ensuring compliance with policies and labor agreements.

  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategy with current and future workforce needs, including recruiting, retention, succession planning, and organizational development.

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR matters such as accommodations, workplace concerns, investigations, and separations.

  • Advise supervisors and leadership teams on HR policies, programs, and best practices while ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and employment laws.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts, particularly for exempt, professional, and leadership-level positions.


Qualifications for the HR Manager:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Strong labor relations experience, including interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling, and union interactions, preferred.

  • Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
