Be a Key Player in a Major Oracle HCM Payroll Implementation
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Payroll Technical Analyst to join a dynamic Payroll Department supporting a large‑scale Oracle HCM Payroll implementation. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll play a critical part during the implementation phase and then transition into a long‑term Payroll Analyst position once the system goes live.
This opportunity offers hands‑on involvement in a complex enterprise rollout, strong cross‑functional exposure, and the chance to make a lasting impact on payroll operations.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Lead a major Oracle HCM Payroll implementation from the ground up
- High visibility with Payroll, HR, IT, and executive stakeholders
- Transition into a stable, long‑term Payroll Analyst role post‑implementation
- On‑site collaboration initially, with hybrid flexibility later in the year
- Opportunity to influence process improvements and system optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical payroll support during enterprise HCM/ERP implementations (Oracle HCM preferred)
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to Payroll, HR, IT, and cross‑functional teams
- Support system configuration, testing, validation, and payroll parallel runs
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and data integrity throughout implementation
- Analyze payroll data flows and identify opportunities for process optimization
- Develop and maintain payroll reports; support ad‑hoc reporting and audits
- Lead multiple priorities while supporting cross‑functional initiatives
- Provide ongoing payroll system support post‑implementation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Bookkeeping, or related field (required)
- 10+ years of experience with centralized, automated payroll systems or related financial environments
- Strong Oracle HCM Payroll experience and ERP implementation background (required)
- Experience with UKG timekeeping and Lawson ERP is a plus
- Solid understanding of payroll taxation, statutory, and compliance requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency
- SQL knowledge highly preferred
- APA certification is a plus
- Exceptionally organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule during critical payroll cycles or implementation milestones
If you’re a payroll systems expert who thrives in complex implementations and is ready to lead, influence, and create long‑lasting impact, this Lead Payroll Technical Analyst role is an outstanding next step.
