
Payroll Specialist (ORACLE HCM)

Hollywood, FL (Monday-Friday to start, hybrid later)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Annual Salary:
$85,000–$105,000
Lead Payroll Analyst to support a large-scale Oracle HCM Payroll implementation within an established Payroll Department. This full-time, direct-hire role will require onsite presence in Hollywood, FL during the initial months of implementation, with the expectation of transitioning to a hybrid schedule later in the year.
Responsibilities
Deliver functional and technical payroll expertise throughout the implementation of enterprise HCM/ERP systems (Oracle HCM strongly preferred)
Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to Payroll, HR, IT, and other internal partners
Support payroll system configuration, testing cycles, validation efforts, and parallel payroll runs
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of payroll data
Evaluate end-to-end payroll workflows and recommend process enhancements
Create, maintain, and analyze payroll reporting; assist with audits and ad hoc reporting needs
Manage competing priorities while contributing to cross-functional initiatives
Provide ongoing payroll system support following go-live
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Bookkeeping, or a related discipline
At least 10 years of experience working with centralized, automated payroll systems or similar financial/accounting platforms
Extensive experience with Oracle HCM Payroll and ERP implementations (highly preferred)
Familiarity with UKG timekeeping systems and Lawson ERP is a plus
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory compliance
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Working knowledge of SQL is highly desirable
American Payroll Association (APA) certification preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
