Overview
We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Administrator to own end-to-end payroll operations and help support an organization making an impact across Indiana. This role partners closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll while contributing to a culture of service and accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Process multi-group payroll (hourly, salaried, stipends) in Paycor
- Maintain payroll data: new hires, comp changes, deductions, direct deposits
- Audit payroll for accuracy and compliance prior to submission
- Handle specialized compensation elements (housing, allowances)
- Support payroll tax, W-2s, reconciliations, and audits
- Partner with Finance on reporting, GL coordination, and expense tracking
- Serve as the go-to resource for payroll questions across the organization
- Help improve processes, documentation, and system efficiency
What You Bring
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with Paycor or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals (taxes, deductions, compliance)
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
- High attention to detail, discretion, and strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- FPC or CPP certification
- Nonprofit or multi-site experience
- Familiarity with specialized compensation structures
