This is not a maintenance CFO role.
This is a build, lead, influence opportunity.

This role sits at the center of decision‑making—working directly with executive leadership to drive insight, discipline, and long‑term value.
If you thrive in regulated environments, understand balance sheets as much as strategy, and want a seat where your voice truly shapes the business, this role was built for you.
Why This Role Stands Out
- True executive partnership with CEO and leadership team
- Direct ownership of financial strategy, reporting, and governance
- Ability to influence growth, risk management, and capital decisions
- Competitive base salary $130k–$180k, plus strong benefits
- Located in the heart of the Columbus financial services market
What You’ll Lead
- Full ownership of the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and performance
- Oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Stewardship of regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management
- Strategic leadership over capital, liquidity, and balance‑sheet management
- Partnership with executives on growth initiatives, product strategy, and operational efficiency
- Oversight of accounting, FP&A, audit, and external advisor relationships
- Translation of complex financial data into clear, executive‑level insight
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven CFO or senior finance leader with banking or financial services experience
- Strong understanding of regulated environments, compliance, and controls
- Experience supporting executive leadership and boards with clear, actionable financial insight
- Strategic thinker who is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves
- Trusted leader with strong communication and influence skills
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Background in banking, credit, lending, financial services, or regulated financial environments
- Demonstrated success guiding organizations through growth, change, or increased complexity
Bottom Line
This is a career‑defining CFO opportunity for a finance leader who wants influence, ownership, and visibility—without the bureaucracy of a massive institution or the instability of a startup.
If you’re a banking or financial services CFO ready for your next chapter in the Columbus market, this is the seat you’ve been waiting for.
