A growing, fast-paced organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its close-knit finance team. This is a high-impact role offering strong visibility to leadership and a clear path to advancement into a Controller position.

Position Overview


The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage a small team, and play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvements. This individual will be instrumental in scaling the accounting function alongside company growth.




Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop a team of 3 direct reports across AP, AR, and staff accounting functions

  • Manage and streamline the month-end close process

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness

  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with leadership on annual planning

  • Provide hands-on support across AP/AR and general accounting functions

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements

  • Collaborate with external CPA firm on audits and tax-related matters

  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and support ad hoc projects as needed




What We’re Looking For



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred (or willingness to reactivate CPA)

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years of leadership experience

  • Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting/forecasting

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
