SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

CFS is engaged with a highly sought after organization in the Greater Janesville market seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is open due to a recent promotion and due to overall growth within the team.

Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

• Prepare month-end journal entries for financial statements


• Prepare monthly sales tax journal entries


• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations


• Prepare month-end journal entries


• Document procedures relating to the preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations


• Identify, investigate and resolve issues relating to journal entries and account reconciliations


• Assist with accumulating necessary documents & reporting for supporting documentation


• Fixed Asset Accounting


• Analysis of trends and variance reporting

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA preferred


• Public Accounting experience ideally in Audit


• ERP System experience


• 3+ years experience

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
